Really happy for Halak, it looked like a shaky start but he seems to have found his groove (obviously). Now I hope wins the next one to break Billy Smith's record!

I'm loving how the Isles are playing, they are my second team and I've been cheering for them ever since Tavares came to town.

Here's to many great years in Isles' country.

BTW Where the hell is Grabner?!?!

Just about healthy enough to play, finally. Good chance you'll see him Thursday against Ottawa if Clutterbuck's injury last night is enough to keep him out for a little while.

The Isles haven't enjoyed the luxury of depth in a long while.

Let's assume the Isles make a real run for it, do you think they need a better backup then Chad Johnson? Will it be enough?

What pieces that are still missing?

They seem to have a complete Blueline, barring injuries. I suppose the only blemish is the duplicity of roles that Josh Bailey provides, not skillfull enough to be a scoring top-6 forward, not mean enough to be a shutdown man. Other than that the Isles are pretty golden (no jinxing)

Well the D is pretty banged up right now. Hamonic got injured on a questionable Neil hit last night. Boychuk and Visnovsky have sat out the last two games and the status of all three is unclear for Thursday.

I have faith that Johnson will turn it around. For a week or two at the beginning of the season he was probably the better of the two goalies on the team. It's still early to start wondering if they need a veteran backup presence in net for a playoff run.

It is nice having the depth though.

Right now I can't think of anything they'd need to add. Maybe towards the trade deadline they can consider adding a veteran defenseman as a 7th guy that can be used as needed but right now I think they have everything they (realistically) need.
